**Job Title: Technical Writer
**We are currently seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our dynamic team responsible for crafting and maintaining comprehensive documentation for our software products. As a Technical Writer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the clarity, accuracy, and usability of our product documentation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in technical writing, coupled with a deep understanding of software development processes and documentation best practices.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and quality assurance, to gather information and ensure accurate representation of software features and functionalities.
Create and maintain clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for software products, covering a range of technical topics and audience needs.
Utilize diagramming tools such as UML and BPMN to illustrate complex technical concepts and processes effectively.
Manage documentation using document management systems like Confluence and DocBook.
Proficiently work with markup and description languages, including HTML, XML, and Markdown.
Develop and maintain API documentation using formats such as JSON, Swagger, and YAML.
Collaborate with development teams using version control systems like Git and following GitFlow best practices.
Utilize tools like draw.io for creating charts and graphics that enhance the understanding of technical concepts.
Incorporate quality assurance tools, such as POSTMAN and TestRail, to validate and document software testing processes.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of databases and effectively document database-related information.
Utilize spelling check tools to maintain the highest level of language accuracy in documentation.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Technical Writer, with a portfolio showcasing technical documentation and writing samples.
Familiarity with software development lifecycle and documentation best practices.
Proficiency in English, Russian, and Ukrainian languages.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with API documentation and understanding of JSON, Swagger, and YAML formats.
Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git and GitFlow.
Experience with diagramming tools, document management systems, markup languages, and QA tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
