Job functions/duties/responsibilities:

Perform general duties including the drafting of simple documents and correspondence handling for the group of companies;
Collect, analyze, verify and pass through dedicated platforms all details and document of KYC and KYB of all clients which will be on boarded to the company, its affiliates or other companies which the Company is/will offer such services to for the group of companies;
Communicate independently and professionally with external and internal clients and stakeholders on all KYC/KYB related matter for the group of companies;
Assist in the setting up and the organization of manuals, policies, procedures online flows for the group of companies;
Lease with the appropriate compliance officer, other KYB officers as well as any other member of the team when needed;
Consult with the corporate attorneys as necessary to address legal compliance issues for the group of companies;
Assist to the Compliance Officer/MLRO in preparation of policies, procedures and annual reports for the group of companies;
Assist in coordination of operational activities so as to maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for the group of companies;
Ensure KYC and KYB checks should comply with the company’s internal policies and procedures (for each company in the group of companies respectively);
Communicate independently and professionally with external and internal clients and stakeholders on all KYC related matters for the group of companies;
Ensure to keep records for all KYC/KYB and update them for the group of companies;
Checking potential clients (company, directors, representatives, ubo/s) against local blacklists, sanctions lists and adverse media in accordance with the internal policies of the company (for each company in the group of companies respectively).

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in law, finance or a related field.
• 3 years proven experience in a compliance officer role in any payment or financial institution. Any experience in a licensed payment institution will be considered as a plus.
• Proven experience in client categorization and risk management.
• Must be a strong communicator and capable of expressing oneself clearly both speaking and in writing
• Possess a collaborative personality and be open to suggestions from team members
• Exemplify strong knowledge of industry protocols and best practices
• Highly-analytical with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to remain composed under pressure whilst effectively managing and prioritizing a substantial workload;
• Strong decision maker and able to lay out contingency plans when faced with uncertainty;
• Has an excellent command of English both spoken and written;
• Experience of dealing with regulators and other external bodies;
• Excellent research and analytical skills;
• Leading and supervising skills
