❌🅿️ Limassol: Driver Mistakes Casino Steps for a Parking Area
An unusual traffic incident took place late on Monday night, 2 February 2026, at the entrance of City of Dreams Mediterranean in Limassol.

At around 11:00 p.m., a 60-year-old man arrived at the casino and attempted to park his vehicle, but for reasons still unclear, he mistook the illuminated staircase at the main entrance for a parking area. As a result, the car drove down the steps and came to a stop halfway along the staircase.

Witnesses said the driver believed he was entering a parking space. Photos from the scene quickly spread online, showing the vehicle resting on the brightly lit steps, surrounded by surprised visitors and casino staff.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported. The vehicle remained at the scene for approximately one and a half hours before being carefully removed.
