🔥Over 1,000 Newborn Animals Killed in Farm Fire at Meniko
Meniko, Nicosia district — A livestock building went up in flames; more than 1,000 newborn lambs and kids died. Fire Service spokesman Andreas Kettis called the damage extensive and said it is hard to establish all details. The blaze appears to have started in an LPG system and the electrical installation and spread very rapidly. Rapid expansion produced a massive thermal load due to materials in the unit. Fire Service investigates causes; police say no malicious action suspected.
