💻Two face court over €35,000 online fraud
Case registered today at Nicosia District Court against two men, aged 20 and 21, charged with conspiracy to commit a felony, fraud, theft, obtaining property by false representation and laundering proceeds of crime.
On 17 July 2025 a company director in Nicosia reported the firm was targeted in an online scam, losing €35,000.
Arrest warrants issued; the suspects were detained on 1 and 2 January 2026 respectively.

😔Fatal crash in Paphos kills 32-year-old after vehicle fell into ravine
Paphos, morning — 32‑year‑old Stylianos Yenis from Geroskipou died when his car plunged into a ravine. Around 08:50 he was driving on an unpaved road in the rural area of Pentalia; under circumstances being investigated he lost control and the vehicle ended in a ravine, sustaining fatal injuries. He had been in the area with a 35‑year‑old friend to train their hunting dogs; the friend and dogs had already exited the vehicle. Fire and rescue teams recovered the body and transferred it to Paphos morgue. Scene sealed and examined by Paphos traffic police.
