😨30-year-old found bloodied after fatal beating; two more suspects arrested

😱Fatal Aglandjia Case: File Returned to Police, Additional Actions Requested
Police spokesperson Byron Byronos told a TV programme that the victim was 20‑year‑old Kyriakos Antoniou and the incident occurred on July 29. The investigative file was completed and sent to the Legal Service, which reviewed it and held a meeting. The file was returned to police because two further investigative steps were requested. Authorities say those steps will be carried out very soon, the file will be resubmitted and instructions will follow for further handling. The probe has been under review for about three months.

Mattress collision on Limassol–Nicosia motorway
Wednesday afternoon driver struck a large mattress lying in the right lane near the Sia exit, around 17:25. Driver says he could not react in time; his car sustained extensive damage but he is uninjured. A van also hit straps and metal on the road and was damaged. Items likely fell from a vehicle transporting the mattress. Driver asks anyone who saw the scene or knows where the objects came from to contact the Police, even anonymously, so the responsible party can be traced and insurance can cover costs.
