📍Omodos, donkeys seem to have run away from somewhere, apparently afraid of the fire and helicopters.

If someone is looking for them, they are on the road leading out of the village, at the place where the road is closed due to a collapse.

A video showing apparent inaction by the Fire Department during a major wildfire has sparked strong reactions.

In the footage, a fire truck is seen present at the scene, observing the flames without intervening. Despite citizens shouting for immediate firefighting action, the vehicle ultimately left the area without providing assistance—at least during the portion of the incident captured on video.

The footage has triggered widespread criticism on social media, with citizens raising questions about the handling of this critical situation.

🔊 Third Day of Hell in Limassol – The Deadly Fire Destroys Everything!
The third day of battle with the deadly fire in Limassol has left behind ashes, destruction, and despair for hundreds of our fellow citizens, who lost their homes and possessions within minutes. The fire is burning over 120 square kilometers, with smoke reaching as far as Lebanon.

At this moment, the situation on the front is improving. Last night’s flare-ups were quickly contained, and there are no active fronts. Aircraft are also fighting the fire, with significant support from Israeli C-130s, while reinforcements are arriving from Spain, Lebanon, and Greece.

Hope is being rekindled — the nightmare may be nearing its end.

🔊 Tears on the Knees: A Story of Firefighter Resilience and Grief
Since 2004, I have been working in the Forest Department as a firefighter. I have participated in all the fires that have occurred in my country up to this day. Unfortunately, I lost colleagues as a result of the fires in Solia in 2016.

I successfully completed the most challenging training in the army in the Underwater Demolition Division, where I managed to surpass myself, and I do not say this out of pride.

In 2007, I took part in deadly fires in Greece, in the Peloponnese, and spent 7 days there. Not once did I break down or fall to my knees.

But today I knelt down and cried, and I am not ashamed of it.
