Almond Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a growing fintech company in their search for a Russian-speaking Chief Technology Officer to join their office in Limassol. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and visionary leader with a solid background in the FX/CFD sector. The ideal candidate will possess proven leadership experience, a passion for driving innovation, and the expertise to enhance scalability and security across all technology operations. As CTO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s technology strategy and leading its tech function as it continues to expand.
 
Responsibilities
Define and execute the company’s technology strategy in alignment with business goals
Oversee software development, deployment, and maintenance of all trading platforms, CRM systems, payment integrations, mobile apps and client portals
Lead, mentor, and grow Engineering teams (Frontend, Mobile, Backend development, QA, DevOps)
Ensure system scalability, performance, and uptime, especially in high-frequency trading environments
Work closely with Product, Business Development, Marketing and Compliance
Ensure full data security, compliance, and reliability of systems
Manage data warehousing, reporting and analytics for the needs of other business units (GA4, GTM, MySQL, BigQuery)
Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to keep the company ahead of market trends
Manage collaboration with third-party vendors and partners
 
Requirements
5+ years of experience in a senior technology leadership role, preferably in the Forex/Fintech/Trading space
Excellent communication skills, stakeholder management
Deep understanding of MT4/MT5, bridge systems, and liquidity provider integrations
Experience with CRM platforms, reporting systems, and trading APIs
Experience with AWS is a plus
Familiarity with VoIP is a plus
Fluent Russian and English speaker (oral & written)
Excellent command of English
Strong knowledge of data protection, cybersecurity, and regulatory frameworks
Proven experience in team management and leading multicultural development teams
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach

Manage all facets of marketing operations including branding, advertising, digital campaigns, content management, and customer engagement
Employ analytical rigor to harness data-driven insights for optimizing marketing campaign efficacy
Foster robust collaboration across various departments such as product development to ensure cohesive marketing efforts
Innovate and refine marketing approaches and channels, keeping ahead of industry shifts to enhance return on investment

Requirements
At least 3 years of proven experience as a Head of Marketing or similar leadership role within the FX or Fintech industry
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth organizations
Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive profitability and showcase measurable results
Acute strategic, analytical, and operational capabilities, with a knack for translating business visions into lucrative marketing initiatives
Proven competence in managing substantial marketing budgets effectively to deliver expected results
In-depth familiarity with FX market trends, competitive scenarios, and consumer behaviour
Ambition and passion for innovation and driving transformation in the fintech space
Fluent in Russian and English languages
