Responsibilities
- Overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
- Preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborating with internal teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making
- Managing the month-end and year-end closing processes, reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies
- Staying informed about changes in accounting regulations and ensuring compliance with local and international standards
- Assisting in the preparation for audits and working closely with external auditors
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is preferred
- Proven experience as an Accountant in the fintech industry
- Strong knowledge of Cyprus accounting principles and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in financial software and MS Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Russian language is a big advantage
