We are looking for a talented professional to cover a role of IT Support in Limassol, Cyprus.
Principal Responsibilities
- Responsible for daily operations, support, maintenance and development of Cyprus office IT infrastructure;
- Provide IT support to users in Limassol office and remotely;
- Diagnose and resolve IT system issues and software and hardware issues working closely with other IT teams;
- Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications;
- Solve all help-desk issues that include but not exclusively, applications such as, Bloomberg, Quik, Microsoft Office etc.;
- Responsible for maintaining a close relationship with all third party service suppliers, all faults are reported in a timely manner and resolved with best possible outcome;
- Assist with designing, implementing and improving service standards and procedures;
The role encourages providing value add services such as consultancy on or direct contribution to architectural/infrastructure designs related to Russian specific exchange infrastructure to a diverse client base incorporating Front and Back office business units.
Key Competencies & Qualifications:
- Higher IT based education or relevant vendor qualification;
- Experience in it support, desirable - experience within financial sector;
- Desktop support experience (Windows 10, Office software package, PC/laptop hardware, printers, scanners);
- Experience with Windows Server 2012 R2/ SCCM/ Office 365, AD, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP;
- Must be able to work under pressure;
- Good interpersonal skills and customer focus;
- Previous experience of supporting market data applications (Bloomberg/Reuters/QUIK) is desirable;
- Fluent English language is essential;
- Fluent Russian language is desirable.
