🥹Cats dont care about their owners - scientists have found out that cats, unlike dogs, do not form any emotional attachments to people.
In a stressful situation, cats do not seek protection in humans, but rely only on themselves. Miaowing after the owner leaves is more often associated with boredom or irritation, rather than with the anxiety of separation.

Even if the cat sleeps next to you, from the point of view of psychology it remains an independent predator - fluffy next to you only because of food, and will easily leave you if necessary.

In the tests, cats behaved equally next to the owner and the stranger: the level of anxiety and confidence did not change.
We knew it!😭🥺

📝Cyprus MPs Meet Freed Ukrainian Prisoners
Cypriot MPs met a Ukrainian delegation of former POWs on Tuesday, reaffirming Nicosia’s support for Ukraine’s independence and territorial integrity.
Meeting chaired by Harris Georgiades with committee member Averof Neophytou.
Delegation included ex-Kherson mayor Volodymyr Mykolaienko, journalist Dmytro Khilyuk and Yulia Pavliuk of the POW coordination centre.
Visit coincides with events marking the fourth anniversary of Russia’s invasion.
Delegates briefed MPs on POW developments, obstacles in obtaining reliable information, and recounted captivity experiences.
They warned of harsh conditions for civilians in Kherson and other frontline cities.
Georgiades linked Cyprus’ stance to respect for international law and its own occupation experience, urged humanitarian progress and united European support.

🫏 Did a Donkey Try to Fly Out of Paphos? Runaway Animal Near the Airport Startles Drivers in Geroskipou
On Tuesday afternoon, drivers at the Geroskipou roundabout were surprised to see not just cars — but a donkey confidently walking toward Paphos Airport. The animal appeared on the road around 2:00pm and calmly moved along the carriageway, ignoring traffic lights and passing vehicles.

Some cars slowed down. A woman from a white vehicle stepped out, apparently trying to stop the four-legged “traveller” — likely its owner. But the donkey seemed to have its own plans — perhaps heading for a “no-luggage flight.”

Fortunately, no accidents were reported. Still, the incident is a reminder: animals suddenly appearing on busy roads can easily cause collisions. Drivers are urged to stay alert, especially near semi-rural areas. Today a donkey — tomorrow who knows?
