KAKOPETRIA — Winter rains have restored running water to the Vateris nature trail, a long‑time favourite of walkers and nature lovers. The route follows a tributary of the Karyotis River, threading plane trees and oaks. Wooden bridges cross the stream at several points, linking paths to Kakopetria’s old village; benches invite slow stops to watch birds and listen to flowing water after a prolonged dry spell. The renewed flow has refreshed the Solea Valley and inspired many to lace up and visit.

🚨Limassol: Elderly Driver Loses Control and Mounts Protective Bollards
