Regarding to your question about "without much effort" if you are interested in smth. not legal, in my opinion this is the wrong place to ask for any advice. If you ask about the ways of learning you may try the governmental courses. Some of them run slow enough. Or maybe you can find a tutor who will provide you lessons ones or twice a week but in a light way without forcing the programme. Surely it will take more time to reach the desired level but you will not feel yourself so pressed.Good luck !
