🚀 Hiring: Business Development Manager - Payments
📍 Location: Fully Remote
🏢 Industry: Payments / PSP / Acquiring
💼 Focus: High-risk, iGaming and financial services merchants
💰 Compensation: Competitive base salary + uncapped performance-based commission
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a growing international payments company.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in payments, acquiring, APMs, Open Banking, payment gateways, PSPs, EMIs, SaaS payment platforms or white-label payment solutions, with a proven background in B2B sales or business development.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify, approach and onboard new merchants across high-risk sectors, including iGaming and financial services
• Generate new business through direct outreach, networking, referrals and market engagement
• Present payment solutions to prospective clients and merchants
• Conduct introductory calls, commercial meetings and product demonstrations
• Manage the full sales cycle from first contact to negotiation, onboarding and go-live
• Negotiate commercial terms in line with company objectives
• Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with merchants and agents
• Support and grow an existing merchant portfolio
• Attend expos, summits and networking events to generate leads and meet prospective merchants
• Work closely with management, PSPs, compliance, onboarding and technical teams to support smooth client onboarding and service delivery
• Contribute to revenue targets, sales strategy and overall commercial growth
Candidate Profile
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in B2B sales, business development or partnerships within the payments industry
• Experience with payment gateways, acquiring, Open Banking, PSPs, EMIs, payment platforms or white-label payment technology
• Proven ability to generate leads, build a pipeline and close commercial agreements
• Strong understanding of high-risk, iGaming and financial services verticals
• Good knowledge of merchant needs, payment flows, acquiring, pricing and payment service models
• Strong negotiation, communication and relationship management skills
• Ability to present to senior stakeholders, including C-level decision-makers
• Self-motivated, target-driven and able to work independently in a remote environment
• Fluent English is required
• Russian and/or Ukrainian will be considered an advantage
