A fast-growing tech company is looking for a ๐๐๐ & ๐๐๐ญ๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง๐๐๐ซ to join its database team and take ownership of production-scale data infrastructure.
This role combines ๐๐จ๐ง๐ ๐จ๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฌ (๐ข๐ง๐๐ซ๐ & ๐๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ข๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐) ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐๐๐ญ๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ , focusing on performance, reliability, and scalability.
๐๐๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฌ:
โข Own and manage MongoDB databases (Atlas & on-prem)
โข Support SQL Server & PostgreSQL (on-prem & AWS)
โข Monitor performance, availability, and system health
โข Manage HA/DR, backups, recovery, patches, and upgrades
โข Build and maintain data pipelines (Airflow)
โข Advise engineers on schema design and query optimization
โข Participate in On-Call rotation
๐๐๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ซ๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ:
โข 4+ years experience across data platforms
โข 2+ years as a DBA (MongoDB + relational DBs)
โข Hands-on Data Engineering experience (Airflow preferred)
โข AWS experience (1+ year)
โข Strong T-SQL skills
โข Experience with Git and code workflows
โข Solid understanding of security, data integrity, and scalability
โข Fluent English
