Tax Returns Specialist
Location: Cyprus
Employment Type: Part-time, mixed remotely and in office

We are looking for a Tax Returns Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and submitting tax declarations in accordance with Cyprus tax legislation, ensuring full compliance and accuracy. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent knowledge of local tax regulations, and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and file individual (IR1) and corporate tax returns (VAT, VIES, SIT, IR7) for group of companies in compliance with Cyprus tax legislation.
Conduct tax calculations, reconcile data, and perform analysis to detect errors or inconsistencies.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of all tax documentation and supporting records.
Monitor tax deadlines and manage timely submission of all required returns.
Communicate with accounting, finance, comliance teams and auditors to ensure proper documentation and reporting.
Communicate with tax authorities regarding any inquiries and clarifications.
Stay updated on changes in Cyprus tax legislation.
Provide guidance to other departments on tax-related matters.
Requirements
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Experience in tax compliance or preparation of tax returns in Cyprus.
Strong knowledge of Cypriot tax regulations and filing procedures.
Proficiency with tax resourses (e.g., TAXISnet, TFA, ERP systems).
High attention to detailы, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication skills in Russian and English; knowledge of Greek is an advantage.
