Devops Engineer
Format: Remote
Employment: full-time
Responsibilities:
-Develop, manage, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, ensuring seamless deployment processes.
-Automate infrastructure processes to boost efficiency and scalability.
-Monitor, notify, log, and maintain infrastructure components to ensure optimal performance.
-Ensure the security of servers and data.
-Communicate effectively with development teams to capture and implement their requirements.
-Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize system performance.
Requirements:
-Minimum 3 years of experience with Kubernetes and managed database services.
-Experience in developing high-traffic systems and managing scalability challenges.
-Proficiency in virtualization systems and Linux containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
-Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including Terraform and Ansible.
-Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, DigitalOcean (AWS preferred).
-Strong scripting skills in Bash and/or Python.
-Proficient with Git. Experience with creating and managing CI systems like GitLab CI.
-Knowledge of web server configurations (e.g., Nginx).
-Experience with observability systems.
-Experience with databases and messaging systems including PostgreSQL, MySQL, RabbitMQ, and Kafka.
