About the Role:
Trinity Private School in Limassol, Cyprus, is looking for an experienced and forward-thinking IT Manager to join our team. This is a key leadership position where you will drive IT strategy, oversee infrastructure, and lead a small but efficient team, ensuring seamless daily operations while implementing innovative technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the IT strategy, aligning technology with business and academic goals
- Oversee IT infrastructure management, including network security, cloud services, and data analytics
- Manage Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, firewalls, and cloud solutions (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure)
- Ensure smooth integration of SaaS platforms (Google Workspace, Office 365, ManageBac) and third-party applications
- Lead a team of 2 IT specialists, providing mentorship and professional development
- Plan and oversee IT budgets, negotiate with vendors, and optimize technology investments
- Support digital literacy initiatives by designing IT training for staff, students, and parents
- Troubleshoot technical issues, maintain help desk operations, and ensure a seamless user experience
Requirements:
- 5+ years of IT experience, including team leadership and hands-on technical support
- Strong expertise in network security, cloud services, IT infrastructure, and data analytics
- Experience with Windows Server (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO), VPNs, firewall management, and SaaS integration
- Advanced proficiency in Russian and at least B2 level in English
- Strategic mindset with a problem-solving approach to IT challenges
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience managing IT budgets and vendor relationships
- Passion for technology-driven education and willingness to support digital learning initiatives
