Senior Go developer| remote

We are Qatar Insurance Company (#QIC), the leading insurance provider in GCC since 1964. Our vision is to make the first Digital Ecosystem in the region by combining insurance and non-insurance services in one platform.

Currently, we are looking for a Senior Golang Developer to become a part of our Core team. Where we work on the insurance system kernel that powers our web and mobile app developed from scratch.

Ideal candidate:
• 4+ years of experience in developing microservices using Go
• Own end-to-end feature delivery
• Experience in ecom/fintech as a plus

We use: Golang, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, Kubernetes, GCP

What QIC offers
• Salary from 4500$ / month + performance reviews are conducted twice a year
• Long-term service agreement contract with QIC
• Full-time remote, work schedule: 5 days per week, Sunday to Thursday
• Vacation policy: Qatar Holiday Calendar, 20 workdays of vacation, and 10 sick-day-offs
• Probation period – 3 months
• Potential opportunity to apply for a Qatar ID and relocation to Doha, Qatar
