Alaio is a leading IT company that values innovation, excellence, and integrity. We are looking for a highly skilled Head of Financial Statements & International Taxation to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate and compliant financial and tax reporting across multiple jurisdictions.

Main Responsibilities:
- Financial & Tax Reporting: Oversee financial statements and tax returns for six jurisdictions.
- Accounting Strategy: Develop and implement accounting policies and international tax strategies.
- Automation: Identify and implement automation solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of up to seven professionals.
- Transfer Pricing: Ensure compliance with OECD guidelines.
- Accounting Systems: Supervise processes in Xero and Zoho.
- Intangible Assets & R&D: Apply IFRS standards to financial reporting.
- Regulatory Compliance:Maintain relationships with external consultants and regulatory authorities.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed financial and management reports.
- Document Management: Ensure proper documentation and secure access.

Requirements:
- Location: Cyprus-based
- Language: English (B2+)
- Education: Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- Certification: ACCA qualified
- Strong understanding of international tax principles and financial regulations
- Minimum 3 years in a senior accounting or tax leadership role
- Advanced MS Excel (pivot tables, complex functions, data analysis)
