Position: IT Support Specialist (Help Desk)
Company: The Island Private School
β Responsibilities:
β Manage, configure, and troubleshoot IT equipment for students, teachers and other staff.
β Support all AV troubleshooting, Clevertouch screens, musical instruments and other related
equipment.
β Assist with software installation, updates, Wi-Fi connectivity, and basic troubleshooting.
β Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and software problems.
β Provide technical support for app-related issues and classroom software.
β Serve as the first point of contact for all IT-related inquiries, including iPads, computers,
printers, and network issues.
β Administration of iPad devices through MDM (Apple school manager, Jamf School, Jamf Safe
internet)
β Provide remote and on-site technical support as required.
β Assist students, teachers, and staff with IT equipment usage, helping them become proficient
with devices and educational apps.
β Coordinate with the IT team to manage repairs, replacements, and updates.
β User account management through Windows Server Active Directory and Google Workspace

β Work with all IT related suppliers to assist in support activities where necessary.
β Requirements:
β 2 years of experience in a similar role.
β Knowledgeable with iOS devices (iPads), Macbooks and Microsoft Windows computers.
β Good networking skills.
β Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve basic technical issues.
β Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to assist non-technical users.
β Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks.
β Knowledge of classroom technology and educational apps is a plus.
β Fluent in English.
