About the Role:
A Team of founders from Silicon Valley created applications with more than 650 million downloads and have previously raised tens of millions of dollars in funding and have reached valuations and exits north of $300 million. His project is a mobile social network that allows users to maintain deeper connections with friends and family while maintaining maximum privacy.
Requirements:
3-6 years of experience as a Software Development
Knowledge of OOP principles and object programming in Python
Experience with Django framework and MySQL/PostgreSQL/other databases
Knowledge of RESTful API design
Knowledge of Git
Experience in startups - building high quality production code, agile/SCRUM workflow, understanding of Lean Startups methodology, MVP concepts, hypothesis testing, etc.
Proactivity, self-motivation, autonomous in day-to-day working routine
English - Intermediate+
It would be great if you also have:
Experience in performance optimizations
Higher education in computer science, mathematics, physics
DevOps skills, including experience with Docker, Apache/Nginx, and cloud hosting services like Digital Ocean, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
Deep understanding of basic algorithms for working with data - sorting, finding the shortest route, clustering, etc.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop and write backend services source code in Python, adhering to our technology stack.
Design the architecture of backend services, ensuring scalability and reliability.
Configure databases and write scripts to support backend infrastructure.
Refactor and optimize backend services for performance and efficiency.
Monitor and profile backend services to ensure high performance.
Deploy backend services using CI/CD tools and integrate them with front-end applications and other services.

Regularly update work results in the version control system and create documentation for implemented services.
