**Credit Risk Analyst
**
Location: Remote or relocation to Philippines
We are Salmon🙂 an Asian fintech start-up. We develop financial products with a focus on innovation and flexibility. We are a team of finance professionals and entrepreneurs backed by world-class investors who have the vision and capabilities to provide more inclusive financial services. We are looking for Credit Risk Analyst to join our team.
It would be great if you could move to Manila (we support relocation process), but we consider candidates who will work remotely as well.
⚡️Your future tasks:
• Engage in analytics tasks related to credit risks, with a primary focus on building credit scoring models.
• Actively participate in the implementation of models and new features, maintain monitoring and reporting.
• Collaborate closely with the product team, development team, and DWH team - our processes, products, and internal infrastructure are actively evolving, requiring deep understanding of data and its nature.
• As we are still a startup, it's important to be able to be versatile and, when necessary, take on adjacent roles/tasks.
⚡️What we expect from candidate:
• At least 1+ years of experience in risk analytics with credit products
• Proficiency with SQL and basic python libraries for data analysis
• Strong understanding of basic statistics, probability theory, and ML
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of engaging and connecting with a diverse range of individuals and teams
• Previous involvement in startups (20-100 people) is a plus
• Proven track record in developing successful financial products is a plus
• Seeking teammates from across the globe, prioritizing those willing to relocate to our Manila HQ
