MeritKapital, a CySEC and FCA licensed investment business is seeking for a IT System Administrator for their Cyprus office in Limassol.

**Required qualifications:

✅ **Good troubleshooting abilities and independence in problem solving
✅ Ability to communicate in English (B1-B2 minimal) , Greek (will be an advantage)
✅ Degree from a reputable University in Computer Science or equivalent experience (from 1 year)
✅ EU Work permit (desired, but not a must)
✅ Experience based on maintenance is appreciable

What will you do?

▶️ End User Support
▶️ Monitor the operational support systems to proactively identify service impacting events
▶️ Implement network security measures to protect data, software and hardware
▶️ User account maintenance among various platforms
▶️ Identify and recommend changes to enhance systems and network configurations
▶️ Conduct tests of systems and backups
▶️ Support the continued operation of current IT infrastructure
▶️ Assist in the documentation of business continuity and disaster recovery procedures

Required Knowledge:

ℹ️ OS: Windows 10, 11, Linux (will be an advantage)
ℹ️ Administrating in Active Directory and Google Gsuite
ℹ️ Virtualisation: Vmware ESXi
ℹ️ Experience with Bloomberg and Swift software , work with support team of them
ℹ️ Basic network structures and network security + Configuring network devices (Cisco, HP, Huawei)
ℹ️ Backup and recovery software and methodologies (Shadow Copies, Veeam Backup)
ℹ️ How VoIP technology works (3CX, Grandstream)
ℹ️ Monitoring tools: Zabbix
ℹ️ Email: Gsuite, Exchange
ℹ️ Experience with server equipment is an advantage
