We are looking for an experienced legal advisor for our Cyprus office.
Your job responsibilities:
•Organization and complex checkout of current corporate documents of Western companies.
•Legal support of new legal entities opening within the framework of purposeful Western structure.
•Banking compliance (legal support of bank examinations).
•Initiation and support of the proposal for continuous improvement of legal processes in Western companies.
•Sanctions legislation analysis of foreign countries and the estimation of its influence on Western companies.
•Implementation of the procedures, complex development and implementation of policies and other necessary documents.
•Preparing the answers of counter parties, banks, partners and clients’ requests in terms of sanctions legislation’s agreement.
•Different projects (including the implementation of necessary compliance procedures, building of compliance system, western counter parties review).
•Preparing answers for the questions, asked by partners and regulatory authorities in terms of sanctions, banking and other compliance issues.
Our ideal match:
•Relevant experience in western companies, understanding of business processes in western companies.
•Nostrificated diploma, legislated in EU.
•Qualification in corporate law, business law, civil law etc.
•IT savvy.
•Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Attention to details and commitment to data accuracy.
•Excellent working knowledge of the English language. Russian language will be considered as an advantage.
•Residence in Cyprus. possibility to work in one of our offices (Nicosia\Limassol) 2-3 times per week or by necessity.
