💻 Front-end Development Team Lead

Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of frontend developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring their professional growth and development
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to translate business requirements into scalable frontend solutions
Architect, develop, and maintain highly performant and reusable code using React and Next.js
Drive the adoption of best practices, coding standards, and development methodologies within the team
Conduct code reviews, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and adherence to industry standards
Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code using responsive design
Ensure that web applications are fully responsive, accessible, and cross-browser compatible
Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability
Monitor performance metrics (KPIs) such as website response time
Guide test cases for QA engineer for E2E and integration tests
Participate in incidents review and their root cause analysis, identifying process issues and planning preventive measures
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to frontend development

Requirements
At least 3 years of experience in frontend web development
At least 1 year in a team lead/management role
Proficiency in React and Next.js understanding of their core principles and best practices
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with modern frontend web technologies such as React, Vue.js, or Angular
Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and backend integration using RESTful APIs
Familiarity with build tools, package managers, and version control systems (e.g., Webpack, npm, Git)
Experience with testing frameworks
Understanding of QA practices
Knowledge of UI/UX design principles, incl Figma
Good written and verbal English and Russian communication skills
Previous experience within the fintech industry is a big advantage
