MeritKapital, a CySEC and FCA licensed investment business is seeking for a Payments / Payroll Specialist for their Cyprus office in Limassol:

Job responsibilities:

Payments:
▶️ Dealing with payment requests.
▶️ Handling payment queries and corresponding with banks.
▶️ Reviewing unpaid transactions.
▶️ Updating internal system payment statuses.
▶️ Verifying payment information with clients/staff.
▶️ Processing payments related to regular activity of the company through various banking systems.
▶️ Liaising with the banks.

Payroll:
▶️ Processing payroll monthly including wage and overtime payments, calculations and recording of payroll deductions, and requests for paycheck advances.
▶️ Verifying timekeeping records.
▶️ Preparing and transferring payroll checks.
▶️ Generating and verifying payroll reports out of payroll system.
▶️ Preparing periodic reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions.
▶️ Maintaining payroll documentation and files.

Required Qualifications:
📌 Bachelor`s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics.
📌 Minimum 1-year work-related experience is required.
📌 Attention to detail and an understanding of risk.
📌 Fluency in English. Knowledge of Greek or Russian would be an advantage.
📌 Eligibility to work in Cyprus.
📌 Knowledge and practical experience of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
📌 Strong understanding of confidentiality principles.
