JOB VACANCY: Accountant (Senior Accountant)
LOCATION: Cyprus, Limassol

A mobile game development company headquartered in Limassol, Cyprus, with R&D offices in Warsaw, Poland, and Minsk, Belarus. Our entire team consists of over 100 people.

The monthly audience of our games is more than 1 million people and is constantly growing. Our games are popular in the USA, Canada, Great Britain and in more than 80 countries around the world.
We have ambitious plans for several years ahead and the company needs employees who are inspired to achieve the best results.

Now we are looking for an Accountant (Senior Accountant) to our Cyprus office (up to 20 employees; sole Accountant).

Duties:

Accounting & Payroll
✔️Prepare and maintain the accounting records and ensure they are up-to-date, including the intangible assets accounting
✔️Maintain and organize the company accounting documentation according to the internal and external (legal) requirements
✔️Provide the guidance on internal accounting processes and policy reviews
✔️Work with outgoing and incoming transfers, as well as invoice collection, preparation, payment and management
✔️Correspondence with contractors for issues related to the maintenance of the accounting records, as well as reconciliation of payments
✔️Preparation and collection of all the relevant information for the registration/ deregistration of employees with the social insurance department and tax authorities
✔️Preparation of payroll and tax computation
✔️Calculation of bonuses and reimbursements to employees (business trip expenses, company-related and agreed expenses)
✔️Preparation and submission on a monthly basis of the PAYE payments and payments to social insurance
✔️Issue the TD63 of the previous year

Taxes
✔️Prepare the monthly VIES reports, submit the reports to Taxforall and reconcile the accounting records
✔️Prepare the quarterly VAT reports, submit the reports to Taxforall system, and reconcile the accounting records
✔️Arrange VAT return
✔️Prepare the initial Tax computation of new employees, including for review by company auditor
✔️Work with benefits in kind and tax exemptions
✔️Maintain the IP box regime

Audit
✔️Preparation of accounting file for the auditors, together with supporting documentation
✔️Cooperation with the company auditors and tax advisors during the accounting period

Finance
✔️Compiling management accounts on a monthly, quarterly, half-year and annual basis
✔️Cash report (monthly)
✔️Costing report (monthly)
✔️Investment report (monthly)
✔️Other reports as per management request

Other
✔️Act as the main contact person for the banks and state authorities for tax and accounting related inquiries, requests and audits
✔️Arranging amendments to tax and social insurance department related to the company data (for example, officers and address change)…

You are suitable for us if:
✔️Your English and Russian are fluent
✔️You are Greek native or fluent in Greek
✔️You have or can get a work permit to work in Cyprus
✔️You have at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in IT and/or an international company (experience from Big4 or other audit company in Cyprus will be an advantage)
✔️You have an excellent knowledge of Cyprus and international accounting standards, tax requirements, statutory laws and regulations
✔️You have ACCA, ACA or CAT (it would be considered as an advantage).
