Backend team lead/head of backend.

Vacancy is open in a new technological start-up in the field of ai-technologies and virtual assistants.

We are looking for a candidate who is ready relocate to Cyprus (Limassol).
We will help with the relocation to you and your family, help with the documents and visas, will pay for the air-tickets and apartments for 14 days upon your arrival.

Responsibilities:

- Define development strategies, design new sections and services inside the product from scratch, make architectural decisions;
- Build and manage the backend development team;
- Manage development processes (Code Review, Code Style, Performance evaluation);
- Manage the technical roadmap and project solutions within the backend team.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience building backend services and infrastructure;
- Experience working with Python/Java/Golang or other stacks;
- Capacity to understand complex technical concepts and help your team make decisions to move forward;
- Deep understanding of cloud concepts and technologies (Google Cloud Platform, AWS Cloud Products, Yandex Cloud, Microsoft Azure);
- Experience architecting distributed systems;
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Python Developer

- Write reusable, testable and efficient code;
- Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, performant services;
- Integrate data storage solutions.


Requirements:
- 3 years experience as a Python Developer;
- Great problem-solving skills;
- Expert knowledge of Python and related frameworks;
- A deep understanding and multi-process architecture and the threading limitations of Python;
- Experience with GCP, AWS or Azure is an advantage.
