QA Full-stack Engineer (Video Streaming) with Python at Mayflower 🔥
We are looking for a QA to join a team that develops high-load services for video streaming, both on the server side and on the UI side. The candidate will have to participate in testing our js player, look for bugs on the server side and work together on the quality of our product

You will:
• Testing new functionality, bug fixes and technical tasks related to our Live video streaming services and video player.
• Analysis of requirements and searching for bottlenecks during testing in collaboration with development and DevOps engineers.
• Selenium/Playwright/Appium/API autotests coverage immediately on the principle of "not covered - not release".
• Creating missing autotests for existing functionality.
• Manual testing and investigation of prod issues.

You have:
• 4+ years of experience in web application (client-server) testing.
• 2+ years of API and UI auto testing experience using Python (MUST) and QA Automation Test Patterns (MUST).
• Experience with Git, Bash, Docker.
• Ability to create comprehensive test scenarios.

We would be highly interested in people with that experience:
• Experience with Gitlab Cl (or any other ci/cd).
• Mobile and network conditions testing.
• Knowledge of video codecs (H264, H265, VP8, etc.).
• Experience with ffmpeg/ffprobe.
• Knowledge of how webRTC and HLS work.

Streaming Engineer (JavaScript + React) at Mayflower 🔥
We are seeking a JavaScript Streaming Engineer with a strong background in video live-streaming to optimize our player infrastructure.
Location and office: Limassol (we provide relocation support).

You will:
• Build and optimize low-latency streaming clients (WebRTC, MSE, HLS).
• Work on binary protocol parsers, DNS caching, and HTTP/2→3 upgrades to reduce TTFB.
• Develop high-load React/TypeScript applications with SSR and Micro Frontends.
• Diagnose complex client-side issues: memory leaks (Chrome DevTools), event-loop blocking, and CORS/CSP vulnerabilities.
• Refactor legacy code, maintain unit tests, and manage build pipelines (Webpack/esbuild).

You have:
• 6+ years in JS (React, Vanilla).
• Must-have: Proven experience with live-streaming on the frontend.
• Deep understanding of binary data (ArrayBuffer), WebSockets, and SSE.
• Strong knowledge of Redux, TypeScript, and modern build tools.
• Ability to write algorithms and parse network protocols under Live Coding conditions.

💼 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Service Delivery:
• Lead high-level incident resolution & service optimization
• Handle escalated tickets from L1/L2 support teams
• Conduct root cause analysis & implement proactive monitoring
• Ensure SLA compliance across all IT services
• Collaborate with users, vendors, and stakeholders
• Mentor junior team members and drive service improvements
Infrastructure:
• Manage physical/virtual servers, cloud environments, networking (switches, firewalls, VPNs), and virtualization platforms
• Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, security hardening, and DR testing
• Deploy automation tools (e.g., Terraform) to ensure high availability and scalability
Backup & Recovery:
• Maintain enterprise backup strategies (encryption, offsite replication)
• Coordinate failover procedures and conduct restore drills
• Monitor RTO/RPO, retention policies, and backup success rates

🎯 REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of IT administration experience
Advanced English (written & spoken)
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure as a service for internal users
System administration + network engineering background
Experience with VPNs, SaaS systems, and user access lifecycles
Proven experience in end-user support (on-site & remote)
Procurement and vendor management experience

Nice to have:
SaaS management optimization tools
Network monitoring/alerting systems
Experience with network integrators or communication providers
Cisco routers/switches/firewalls/APs/controllers (CCNA+ is a plus)
AMF Pro (Apple ecosystem)
