At the moment we are seeking a Chief Financial Officer to develop and execute financial strategies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial management, planning, reporting, and risk management while driving profitability and growth. CFO will play a critical role in driving profitability, growth, financial stability, and maintaining the company's reputation as an industry leader.
Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement financial strategies and policies that align with company objectives, ensuring long-term financial health and sustainability, and a competitive advantage.
-Oversee and manage all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and accounting.
-Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to financial operations, reporting, and risk management.
-Evaluate and manage financial risks, including foreign exchange, interest rates, and counterparty risks, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies and internal controls.
-Develop and manage financial controls and systems to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with regulations.
-Ensure effective cash management and optimal capital structure, while managing company liquidity, investments, and financing activities.
-Lead the finance team, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
-Collaborate with executive leadership to set financial targets and monitor performance, providing regular updates and actionable insights to support decision-making.
-Establish and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, investors, and regulatory authorities to enhance the company's reputation and market position.
-Drive process improvement and automation initiatives within the finance function to boost efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
-Stay current on industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes, proactively adapting financial strategies and operations to maintain a competitive edge.
-Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including AML/KYC, tax, and audit requirements.
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is strongly preferred.
-Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or CFA is a plus.
-A minimum of 10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within the financial services or fintech industry.
-In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles (IFRS), and risk management practices.
-Comprehensive understanding of global financial markets, online trading regulations, fintech ecosystem, and industry best practices.
-Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
-Proficiency in financial software and tools.
-Fluency in English and Russian languages.

Key responsibilities:
-Formulate and implement global commercial strategies to ensure and strengthen the company's position in the market;
-Provide leadership of the commercial team, ensuring synergy between different departments - marketing, sales, customer support and product development;
-Identify and use new market opportunities and partnerships to increase profits;
-Collaborate with internal teams to increase customer satisfaction and retention, monitor product compliance with global standards, quickly launch initiatives that contribute to business growth and revenue optimization;
-Lead and motivate sales and marketing teams in achieving key metrics, increasing global brand recognition and penetration of key markets;
-Build and maintain key client relationships, establish and develop relationships with external partners, regulators and industry peers;
-Regular review and evaluation of the effectiveness of our business development efforts, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize results and achieve rapid growth goals.
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 10+ years of work experience in management positions, commercial positions with proven work experience in the international sector of financial trade;
2. Extensive experience in sales, marketing, product management and experience working with clients in a technologically driven trading environment;
3.Demonstrated leadership qualities in managing complex commercial functions;
4.Ability to develop and implement reliable commercial strategies aligned with corporate goals;
5.Experience in bringing business to new geos and scaling them;
6.Ability to manage key performance indicators of different teams and motivate them to achieve goals;
7.Reliable data analysis skills for decision-making and strategy formulation;
8.Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills;
9.The advantages will be the experience of working with such regions - Southeast Asia, the Middle East, African countries, Latin America.
10. Mandatory high level of English, both oral and written;
11. Willingness to work from Cyprus;
