IVITATION FOR A RIVER WALK TO MEET MY RESCUED DOGS
Are you interested to adopt a dog? Would you like to see him/her in nature without a leash with the company of other dogs so that you can get to know how he/she behaves? I am organizing a river walk with friends and you are invited too. You can see some of the dogs that are available for adoption in the photo. All the dogs were rescued from the streets. The dogs on the photo are around a year old besides Flower who is between 2and 3.

Sunday 8-3-2026 at 10:00 o'clock river walk (and swimming), we are starting the walk at 10:00 exact time.
DESCRIPTION:
We are a group of friends (who bring friends), who meet every year and walk next to the river in Kseros Potamos valley (Paphos area).
At the same time we look for places where there is deep water and swim.
Although we start walking at the same time, everybody follows his/her own pace and stops whenever he/she wants. You don't have to stay with the group if you are drawn by nature and want to stop and observe or if you want to follow a different path.
Choose to get wet in your athletic shoes or change into flip flops because we have to cross the river some times.
We finish at «Γεφύρι του Ρουθκιά» and then go back from the same root.
Βρέτσια village is on the way if anyone wants to visit and extend their walk.
Bring snacks and a playful attitude.
If you want to bring your dog do it, but he/she has to be friendly to other dogs.
For info: 99608577 Emilios. During the walk use my phone only if it’s an emergency. If you are thinking that you might not manage to reach the destination (Γεφύρι του Ρουθκιά), stay with the rest of the group. Don’t call me to explain how to reach there because I won’t be able to explain.

As you go from Kelokedara village towards Salamiou, before entering the village of Salamiou turn left when you see a sign saying:
"To Galataria, Koilinia. Panayia tou Sinti". Go down to the river and park your car when you reach the bottom (where the river is).

The walk will happen on the 8th of March, Sunday 2026 at 10:00 in the morning.
Ενδιαφέρεσαι να υιοθετήσεις σκύλο και θέλεις να τον γνωρίσεις στη φύση χωρίς λουρί, παρέα με άλλους σκύλους για να δεις πως συμπεριφέρεται; Οργανώνω περπάτημα σε ποταμό με φίλους και σε καλώ να έρθεις και εσύ. Μπορείς να δεις κάποιους από τους σκύλους που είναι διαθέσιμοι για υιοθεσία στην πιο κάτω φωτογραφία. Όλοι οι σκύλοι έχουν σωθεί από το δρόμο και αυτοί που βλέπεις στη φωτογραφία είναι περίπου ενός χρόνου εκτός από την Flower που είναι μεταξύ 2 και 3ων.

Дорогие друзья, нам срочно нужна передержка для этой бездомной собаки. Её сбила машина (преднамеренно), и теперь она не может ходить. Пожалуйста, поделитесь ссылкой или возьмите собаку на передержку, если можете. Инвалидная коляска заказана и скоро прибудет. Все расходы на лечение и питание будут покрыты. Ей нужен только тот, кто будет заботиться о ней, пока она не найдёт свой постоянный дом. Я нашла эту собаку и узнала её. Она жизнерадостная и заслуживает жизни. Я бы взяла её на передержку, но я живу в поле со многими другими спасёнными собаками, и это не лучшее место для собаки в инвалидной коляске. Вот мой номер телефона 99608577. Я не говорю по-русски. Who is this walk for?
This walk is for everyone but more specifically its for:
-anyone who would like to spend an August afternoon walking with us in this pure and forgotten area of Cyprus
-someone who is interested to get to know my dogs with the possibility of adoption. Most of them are 6 months old and have different sizes
-kids
-other dog owners who have dogs that enjoy the company of other dogs. I never walk my dogs with a leash so bare in mind that they will be free
-anyone else
Info about the walk:
This walk takes 1,5 to 2 hours with one break and its medium difficulty to walk. We go down to a small pond and spring and then all the way up always following a soil road. There is nice view and we go through a forest at some point
Who am i?
I am Emilios and i run a small dog shelter which is part of my farm. I have always experienced a deep connection with animals and trees and since 2020 I live in Mesana village. This was a childhood dream that came true.

Why am i doing this walk?
I've had a very busy year, my schedule has been full with so much and i haven't been able to find time and energy to interact with humans outside work. So this walk comes to fulfil this need. At the same time i wish to find homes for the dogs i rescued. I currently have nine and it is a lot for me...

On the 9th of the August there is the Animafest in the nearby village so you can combine the walk with this festival.
