We are searching IB teachers (methodist - educator) to join our private nursery school Funscool.

● The salary is €2667 (gross) per month for working hours (from 8.00 to18.00) / €1400 (gross) per month for working hours (from 8.00 to13.00)

Requirements:
● QTS or degree qualification in teaching
● International experience of working with children and their parents
● Working permission for the Republic of Cyprus or willingness to get one
● The ability to adapt and provide a tailored approach to a variety of children's needs
● A strong work ethic and passion for developing children
Responsibilities:
● Planning appropriate lessons to meet national curriculum guidelines, keeping up to date with changes
● Creating engaging lessons to involve pupils of all abilities, coordinating with colleagues and TAs where needed
● Setting up the classroom, organizing displays and equipment
● Using a mix of resources to enhance pupil’s exploration of the topic
● Using different teaching methods, including whole class, group work, independent research, demonstrations, experiments, and play, to motivate and encourage interaction in the class
● Providing help and support to individual pupils as required, taking responsibility for their academic progress
● Creating a learning environment that pupils respect and enjoy
● Setting expectations for discipline and behavior including dealing with inappropriate behavior according to school policy
● Liaising with other teachers through meetings to provide the best possible support
● Providing a safe, healthy environment, and following safeguarding procedures
● Organizing and participating in outings, social activities, and sports events
● Attending meetings and parent’s evenings
● Liaising with senior leadership, parents, and external bodies about progress, behavior, child protection, and health
● Supervision of the teaching staff. Interaction with the network’s methodologists, adaptation and support of teachers together with the methodologists of the bilingual program
