Vizor Games is looking for Senior Legal Counsel.

Department: Legal
Reporting To: General Counsel

Location: priority will be given to candidates who are able to work from our office in Limassol, Cyprus. Though remote option is not in priority, strong candidates will be considered.

We are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join our rapidly growing global team. You will report to the General Counsel and work directly with the business providing you with an outstanding opportunity to make a direct impact on gaming company growth.

You have strong expertise in one or certain of the following practices:

Corporate law
Advising on corporate law related matters under Cyprus and EU Law. Managing and supervising fiduciary providers and secretarial services. Monitoring the maintenance of the corporate documents, locally in Cyprus as well as of the foreign company's affiliates. Supervising corporate relationships with the company affiliates. Working closely with the financial department to develop and implement corporate financial strategies.

Privacy and Data Protection
Developing company-wide standards and specific privacy policies, work with teams globally to review products, features, new applications, HR initiatives, develop and control data flow charts, implement legal risk mitigation strategies to ensure data protection compliance for products, operations and teams from multiple privacy frameworks perspective.

Intellectual Property
Advising the business on all aspects of IP, including TMs and copyright clearance, brand protection, IP aspects of products releases. Supervising IP portfolio management. Resolve IP infringement issues, including online brand protection. Advising the business in regard to copyright matters (including obtaining relevant licenses, copyright clearance and use of third-party copyright works). Managing IP licenses and assignments drafting and cooperating closely with commercial counsels to ensure the quality of IP related provisions in contractual workflow.

Commercial
Managing, drafting and negotiating multiple commercial agreements (license, marketing, publishing, partnership agreements etc.). Working with product teams and administrative departments on commercial deals with key contractors and strategic partners. Assisting in product releases issues, negotiating with distribution platforms, liaising with government and public institutions (age ratings, consumer protection etc.). Working closely with the business development team to improve the contractual workflow.

• You are passionate about sharing experience with junior team members and colleagues from different expertise;
• You already have or ready to obtain management skill of a team of your expertise;
• You have a keen interest in video games and are willing to grow as a legal professional in the industry.

Requirements
• Strong academic credentials, including an appropriate law degree;
• Post education experience: 3+ (preferably 5+) years of legal experience in a law firm, in-house or a mix, ideally in information technologies and interactive entertainment;
• Hands-on experience with EU regulations and English contract law;
• Strong analytical skills, ability to conduct legal research and demonstrate excellent judgment;
• Strong written and oral communication skills;
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage team, follow through and meet deadlines;
• Ability to work independently;
• Fluent English and Russian (Knowledge of Greek is a plus).
