Legal Counsel (Middle/Senior) CY (remote or office)
Gaijin develops and publishes AAA online games for PC, consoles and mobile platforms, including the popular MMO "War Thunder," "Enlisted" and other games.
Gaijin team consists of hundreds of talented game developers from all over Europe and is constantly growing.

We are looking for a Legal Counsel (Middle/Senior).
Key responsibilities:
Providing full-range legal support for the Group Company’s business;
Drafting and reviewing commercial agreements: various IP, marketing, services contracts, loans, etc.;
Preparing various public documentation: ToS, EULA, promo offers, etc.;
Advising on IP and contract law of different jurisdictions;
Participating in due diligence checks (IP-related deals);
Preparing various intercorporate agreements (e.g., license, asset purchase, services contracts);
Providing full-range legal support on data protection compliance (including GDPR, CDPA, COPPA, etc.), i.e., drafting/reviewing privacy policies, DPAs, and other privacy documents, conducting legal research, supporting due diligence and audits, and responding to external privacy inquiries;
Legal research (including legislation/case law updates and videogames related issues);
A bunch of other full-range advising and paperwork, typical for a videogame company.
Our requirements:
At least 5 years PQE, including in the common law IP contracts;
Fluent English - C1 (!);
Advanced knowledge of intellectual property and contract law in common law jurisdictions and on the EU level is a must;
Well-developed habit of rapid and simultaneous processing of multiple documents and tasks, strong skills in MS Office (Word), and proficient PC user (crucially important, not a boilerplate requirement!);
Proven interest in the videogame industry is an extreme advantage. “Just gamers” are also very welcome:).
