Liquidnet is part of the Agency Execution business line in TP ICAP. This role sits within the Agency Execution team that is part of TP ICAP Technology division.

Responsibilities

The Developer is responsible for the design, development and testing of programs and other code artefacts under the guidance of a Technical Team Leader (TL), and with the support of Principal Engineers.

Key responsibilities include:
Design, develop, test, maintain and enhance software products covering web, rich client and server applications.
Elicit and understand functional and non-functional requirements to design and deliver software solutions
Collaborate with internal and external teams, identify and solve complex problems and review related information to evaluate and develop solutions.
Revise, update, refactor and debug code using the C# or other suitable programming languages
Test and deploy applications and systems
Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
Document requirements and designs
Develop innovative solutions in a strategic, pragmatic way.
Participate in the SCRUM processes

Skills & Experience
Great practical problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in modelling and graphical representations of software systems
Programming experience in at least one of C#, Java, Javascript or Python
Linux knowledge would be plus
SCM (Git preferred) experience
Proven relevant experience in object-oriented design and development (OOP) and C#
Experience in TDD (Test Driven Development) / Unit Testing.
University degree or similar qualification
