TestPapas are hiring a Senior QA Automation Engineer with deep knowledge in backend systems, test infrastructure, and very strong experience with Python, Kafka, gRPC, and GitHub Actions.

You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment where autonomy, technical depth, and adaptability are essential. This role involves both manual and automated testing, with a primary focus on scaling and stabilizing backend services through robust testing practices.

🔧 What You’ll Do:
- Quickly onboard into complex systems and projects with minimal guidance
- Develop and maintain scalable automated test suites using Python
- Perform manual testing when appropriate, with a strategic transition to automation
- Implement well-written and clear automation reports using tools like Allure + Cucumber
- Execute advanced API integration and performance tests (JMeter, k6, Gatling)
- Drive test planning, design, execution, and reporting
- Focus on Kafka & gRPC-based architectures for backend test coverage
- Ensure clean, maintainable test code with thorough documentation

✅ You Bring:
- Strong experience in Python automation frameworks
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Kafka and gRPC protocols
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (especially GitHub Actions)
- Expertise in API testing, backend systems, and binary protocols
- Ability to handle message queues, performance validation, and backend reliability
- Russian language knowledge is very big plus.
