Our company Swan Hellenic Cruises, a World Leader In Cultural Expedition Cruising is looking for an accountant for its Larnaca office.
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Daily bookkeeping in the accounting system
2. Preparation of quarterly VAT Return
3. Prepare quarterly management accounts
4. Managing and maintaining the Company’s fixed assets register.
5. Reconciliation of receivables/payables/loans and banks
6. Assist in gathering information and coordination of the audits
7. Control over source documentation for companies registered locally and abroad
8. Perform any other accounting duties as assigned
 
An ideal CANDIDATE should be:
1. In possession of a Financial Diploma, currently studying for an ACCA (min 9 subject passed) or a holder of a Degree in an Accounting related subject.
2. Knowledgeable in accounting and bookkeeping principles.
3. A minimum of 5 years relevant accounting experience.
4. Computer literate especially in the use of MS Office, and previous experience with accounting software.
5. Organized and self- motivated person who is willing to learn and grow professionally. A strong team player who can effectively interface with various departments.
6. A responsible individual who can work independently and meet deadlines.
7. Excellent knowledge of English language is required (Russian language is considered as advantage)
8. Experience with Dynamics Business Central Accounting Software or similar will be considered as advantage
