Murder in Limassol: Businessman and Karmiotissa FC President Shot DeadA shocking crime took place in Limassol early this morning around 9:00 on Tsireio Street. Businessman and president of Karmiotissa FC,
Stavros Demosthenous, was shot dead while sitting in his car.
According to Philenews, the attacker stood in front of the vehicle and fired several shots. The victim died instantly. Police have sealed off the area from Agia Fylaxeos to the Troodos roundabout while forensic experts work on the scene.
Authorities are also investigating a possible connection between the murder and a
burned-out vehicle found near Germasogeia.
🚨 Following the incident, heavy traffic was reported in Limassol, as police temporarily closed part of the Limassol–Paphos highway.
