This role sits close to the actual transaction flow: understanding why payments succeed or fail, spotting patterns across issuers and BINs, identifying routing or technical issues, and helping optimise payment performance at customer level.

🧩 Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain continuous oversight of payment activity for an assigned portfolio of priority customer accounts
- Monitor payment activity at account, user ID, email, transaction, card, BIN, issuer, country, device, and payment-method level
- Build a detailed understanding of each customer’s payment behaviour and transaction history
- Track successful, declined, pending, reversed, duplicated, refunded, and abandoned payment attempts

- Analyse transaction performance by BIN, issuing bank, card type, card scheme, country, currency, and authentication flow
- Adjust routing logic based on BIN, issuer, card type, country, currency, payment history, transaction amount, and previous payment outcomes
- Configure or request changes to payment cascades based on actual transaction performance
- Maintain clear and up-to-date records of customer-specific payment issues, actions taken, and results achieved
- Prioritise payment-critical cases and ensure unresolved issues are followed through to completion

- Hands-on experience with payments, payment processing, acquiring, PSPs, payment gateways, or payment operations
- Strong understanding of the payment transaction lifecycle
- Ability to analyse declines, issuer response codes, authentication results, gateway errors, and PSP responses

- Track Mastercard and Visa monitoring thresholds and help prevent entry into fraud or chargeback monitoring programmes
- Investigate spikes in chargebacks or fraud and identify potential causes, including traffic quality, technical issues, misleading descriptors, recurring payment problems, and operational failures
- Support the implementation and optimisation of fraud prevention rules, transaction limits, velocity checks, blacklists, whitelists, and risk-scoring criteria
- Review existing fraud rules and recommend adjustments to reduce fraud without unnecessarily impacting approval and conversion rates
- Work closely with Payments, Risk, Compliance, Customer Support, Finance, Product, and Technical teams
- Communicate with PSPs, acquirers, fraud prevention providers, and other external partners regarding fraud alerts, chargebacks, evidence requirements, and risk recommendations
- Prepare regular reports on chargebacks, fraud levels, dispute outcomes, recovery rates, trends, and emerging risks

• Legal support for real estate transactions in Cyprus: property appraisals, preparation of purchase and sale and lease agreements, risk management, liaison with government agencies, and registration oversight.
• Opening bank accounts for clients, including collecting necessary documentation and full liaison with banks.
• Registration and subsequent support of Cyprus companies.
• Conducting basic client due diligence (KYC - Know Your Customer).
• Consulting clients on all matters of migration and immigration law in Cyprus.
• Interacting with external legal consultants on corporate law, license renewals, and other matters.

Candidate Requirements:
• Proficiency in Russian and English. Knowledge of Greek is an advantage.
• 1 to 3 years of legal experience in corporate law and Cypriot law.
• Residence in Cyprus.
• Work permit.

Что нужно делать:
• Участвовать в получении и сопровождении лицензий платежных провайдеров;
• Работать со сложными международными договорами;
• Проводить legal research по новым юрисдикциям и регуляторным вопросам;
• Консультировать бизнес и продуктовые команды по вопросам платежного регулирования;
• Сопровождать корпоративные вопросы международной группы компаний;
• Взаимодействовать с регуляторами, банками, внешними консультантами и партнерами.

Что ожидаем:
• Сильный опыт в fintech / payments / платежных или финансовых компаниях;
• Опыт работы с платежным регулированием и лицензированием;
• Хорошее понимание payment flows и платежного бизнеса;
• Опыт работы со сложными международными договорами;
• Опыт legal research и работы с международными юрисдикциями;
• Английский для полноценной профессиональной коммуникации.

Будет плюсом опыт работы с Кипром и другими юрисдикциями ЕС, acquiring, corporate structuring, AML/KYC и другими видами финансового лицензирования.
