ENTRY UNDER THE SCHENGEN VISA AND RESIDENCE PERMITS IN THE EU AND SCHENGEN STATES

Third country nationals (non EU)* holders of a valid visa category D or residence permit in the European Union (except the UK and Ireland), in the Schengen countries, have the right to visit Cyprus without an additional visa under the following conditions:
- have a valid passport or other document provided for travelling abroad;
- be able to confirm the purpose of travel and accommodation in Cyprus;
- have sufficient funds for stay and return to the country of permanent residence;
- be absent from the list of persons prohibited to enter the territory of the Republic of Cyprus.
Duration of stay may not exceed 90 days during any 180-day period.

* There is an exception to the rule, which concerns the citizens of the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Azerbaijan who need to be issued a national Cyprus visa to visit Cyprus.
