1. Let's say I bough shares during the year, sold it with profit, so I pay GESy from the profit right? Correct, provided that the profit is of a trading nature. Capital gains are exempt from GeSy.
2. I bought shares, sold it with loss. Do I have any "GESY shield"? Strictly speaking no since the as the law is written down, in case of a loss no GeSy is due.
3. I bought shares, didn't sell it during the year and have unrealized capital gain as it's risen. Do I need to pay GESY from unrealized gain? No GeSY should be calculated on unrealized profits.
