Chief Product Officer (CPO) FinTech

Role Overview
The CPO drives the vision, strategy, and execution of your forex trading platform's product roadmap. This role bridges business objectives, user needs, and technical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision: Define long-term product direction aligned with business goals; establish competitive positioning in the forex market
Market Research & Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis, identify market trends, regulatory requirements, and user pain points
Roadmap Management: Prioritize features, create phased development roadmaps, and balance short-term wins with long-term platform evolution
User Experience Leadership: Own the user journey across web and mobile; collaborate with design to ensure intuitive, compliant interfaces
Stakeholder Management: Communicate product decisions to executives, engineering, compliance, and trading partners
Metrics & Analytics: Define KPIs (user acquisition, retention, trading volume, conversion rates); drive data-informed decisions
Compliance & Regulatory: Ensure product features comply with financial regulations (ESMA, CFTC, local authorities)
Monetization Strategy: Design pricing models, commission structures, and premium feature tiers
Team Leadership: Build and mentor a product management team; foster innovation culture

Required Qualifications
8+ years in product management, with 3+ years in fintech or financial trading platforms
Proven track record launching successful financial products or platforms
Deep understanding of forex market mechanics, trading workflows, and trader psychology
Experience with regulatory compliance in financial services (FCA, CFTC, ESMA preferred)
Strong analytical skills; proficiency with product analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar)
Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership abilities
MBA or equivalent business experience preferred
Fluent English

Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience at trading platforms (e.g., Interactive Brokers, eToro, OANDA, Forex.c o m)
Background in technical product management (understanding APIs, infrastructure)
Knowledge of blockchain/crypto trading (if offering crypto-forex pairs)
Experience managing mobile-first financial applications
