🎯 About the Role
We’re looking for a DevOps Support Engineer to join our Monitoring team, with a focus on managing Datadog observability and handling support tasks and incidents through ServiceNow.
You’ll be responsible for onboarding applications into Datadog, configuring dashboards and monitors, and ensuring observability standards across services.

🎯 Responsibilities
• Handle ServiceNow tickets: tasks & incidents related to monitoring
• Onboard new applications to Datadog (logs, metrics, synthetics)
• Create and update monitors, dashboards, logs, metrics, synthetics and alerting rules
• Infra as code Terraform
• Write basic Python scripts for automation
• Collaborate with dev and infra teams to ensure proper monitoring coverage

🎯 Tech Stack
• Datadog
• Terraform, Python, GitHub, ServiceNow
• Basic knowledge of infrastructure (cloud, on premise, k8s) and networking
• Jira, Confluence
• Knowledge of Linux

Prerequisites, Competencies & Certifications

🎯 Must-Have Competencies
• Proven experience with Datadog observability tools (logs, dashboards, synthetics, etc.) or similar monitoring systems such as Grafana, Prometheus
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and scripting in Python
• Familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow
• Good understanding of monitoring principles and incident response
• Solid grasp of networking basics, Linux environments, and Kubernetes concepts
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams

🎯 Nice-to-Have
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud infrastructure monitoring
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps lifecycle
• Familiarity with log enrichment and parsing strategies

🎯 Certifications (Preferred)
• Datadog Certified (e.g., Datadog Fundamentals, Monitoring and Dashboards)
• HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
• AWS/GCP/Azure certifications (any foundational or associate level)
• Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS) or equivalent
