On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Managing Director to lead and scale a fast-growing business within the iGaming / grey markets sector. This is a senior leadership role requiring a strong operator with deep expertise across marketing and operations, capable of driving growth, building high-performing teams, and navigating complex, competitive markets.
The ideal candidate brings a proven track record at MD level and thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
 

Key Responsibilities

Business Leadership & Strategy
·       Define, optimise and execute the overall business strategy aligned with growth and profitability targets
·       Take full ownership of P&L, performance, and long-term business unit direction
·       Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams
·       Drive expansion across existing and new geographies
·        
Marketing & Growth

·       Oversee performance marketing, acquisition, retention, and brand strategy
·       Ensure strong ROI across all acquisition channels, including affiliates, social channels, influencers and brand ambassadors
·       Lead data-driven decision-making to optimize growth and customer lifetime value
·       Work closely with CRM and product teams to maximize monetization
 
Operations & Execution
·       Lead day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and performance
·       Build and optimize operational structures, processes, and KPIs
·       Align product, tech, marketing, and commercial teams to execute strategy effectively
·       Ensure the business operates with agility in a fast-moving, competitive environment
 
Team Leadership

·       Build, lead, and mentor senior leadership and cross-functional teams
·       Foster a high-performance, accountability-driven culture
·       Drive hiring strategy for key leadership roles
Requirements
·       Proven experience as a Managing Director (or equivalent senior leadership role) for 5+ years
·       Demonstrable background in iGaming grey market industries
·       Demonstrated expertise in both marketing and operations leadership
·       Experience managing full business P&L and scaling revenue-driven organizations
·       Track record of operating in highly competitive, fast-paced environments
·       Strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance growth and profitability
