We have a number of our on projects around trading, research, ml and infrastructure.

Currently we are looking for an experienced Chief Information Security Officer to take full ownership of our information security strategy, processes, and decision-making. This is a complex, high-impact role in a growing company, where you'll have the chance to build and enhance security systems from the ground up

Salary
ready to discuss, ability to pay in the upper segment of the market + bonuses based on the review process (twice a year, up to 50% of annual salary)

Location
Office, from Amsterdam (NL) or Nicosia (Cyprus)

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain all key information security processes and strategies (access management, incident response, risk assessments, etc.);
- Continuously develop and enhance SIEM, ensuring a structured and stable information security process while responding quickly to SIEM-related incidents;
- Participate in regular IT audits, be prepared to be the face of the Infrastructure team when meeting external auditors;
- Increase awareness of information security as a critical function within the company, systematically educating employees on its importance;
- Work with internal users to create clear documentation on security processes and policies, explaining security requirements in an accessible manner and addressing employee questions;
- Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and other specialists to design and implement mechanisms that enhance information security;
- Establish clear communication across the company to ensure all employees understand the purpose behind security updates and technical decisions;
- Consistently prepare and share information security reports on completed tasks, potential risks, and future plans;
- Collect and analyze metrics on security incidents and vulnerabilities to demonstrate trends and progress;
- Be prepared to handle urgent security issues while also contributing to long-term strategic planning.

Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in information security within large IT-related companies, with the last 3–5 years as a Lead Security Specialist or CISO, covering everything from strategic compliance to the technical nuances of SIEM;
- Proven ability to take full responsibility for security operations, establish processes from scratch, and maintain existing ones at a high level of quality;
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts in a clear and understandable manner;
- Excellent project management skills, process organization, and the ability to drive tasks to completion;
- English: Upper-Intermediate or Advanced level is required;
- General interest in the high-frequency trading industry is a plus.
