Accountant | Family Office
📍 Full-time | Nicosia, Cyprus (hybrid)

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our Family Office, which oversees 35+ diversified entities across multiple jurisdictions, including Cyprus, the UAE, BVI, and Hong Kong.

✍️Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate and timely accounting records for several family office entities across multiple jurisdictions
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing (accruals, prepayments, reconciliations)
• Manage the full accounts payable cycle: invoice validation, verification against contracts/approvals/budgets, payment execution and posting
• Prepare internal reports (cash position summaries, expense analysis, A/P aging)
• Support ad-hoc reporting for family members, directors, and senior management
• Track expenses against budgets/forecasts where applicable
• Support the statutory audit process and coordinate with auditors
• Liaise with external accountants, tax advisors, and corporate service providers
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting, payment, and reporting processes, improve automation, controls, and documentation
• Support implementation or optimisation of accounting systems and tools
• Follow family office governance standards, approval procedures, and internal controls

📌Requirements
• University degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
• 4-5 years of experience as an Accountant, including work with various banks and management of the accounts payable process
• Knowledge of accounting standards, regulations, and VAT principles. ACA/ACCA is a plus
• Proficiency in accounting software (XERO / QuickBooks / Sage, etc.) and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent English and Russian, spoken and written
