Looking for IT Support Officer (Nicosia, ECOMMBX LTD, FINTECH)
The Role
The successful candidate will be involved in, amongst others:
• Installation and configuration of computer hardware operating systems and applications
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
• Guiding staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues
• Troubleshooting system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
• Replacing parts as required
• Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
• Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
• Supporting the roll-out of new applications
• Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues
• Responding within agreed time limits to call-outs
• Testing and evaluating new technology
• Conducting electrical safety checks on computer equipment
• Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, such as software developers
Requirements
• Undergraduate and / or Postgraduate degrees in Computer Science or related disciplines
• 2 - 3 years of related professional experience will be considered an advantage
• Strong software and operating systems literacy
• Strong customer focus
• Ability to work affectivley in a team environment
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Strong multitasking, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Excellent command of the Greek and English Languages, both verbal and written
