Full Stack Java Developer

About the role
EMKAP Ltd, a CySEC and FCA licensed investment business, is hiring a Full Stack Java Developer for its Limassol team. You’ll design, develop, and support internal software systems, making our platforms more efficient, secure, and user-friendly.

What you’ll do
• Develop and maintain applications (Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate)
• Work on back-end and front-end (Angular/HTML5/CSS3)
• Design & implement REST APIs
• Write and maintain tests (JUnit, Mockito)
• Support and enhance existing systems (e.g. booking app)
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Git, Maven, Docker, Jenkins)

What we’re looking for
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 2+ years’ experience in software development
• Strong Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, MySQL skills
• Experience with REST APIs, CI/CD, version control
• Familiarity with unit/integration testing frameworks
• Front-end experience (JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5, CSS3, Angular or JSP)
• Advantageous: Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, Linux

IT System Administrator

About the role
EMKAP, a CySEC and FCA licensed investment business, is hiring a Junior–Mid IT System Administrator for its Limassol office. A great opportunity for someone proactive with strong troubleshooting skills, eager to grow in IT support and infrastructure.

What you’ll do
• End-user support across platforms
• Monitor & maintain systems and networks
• Implement security measures
• Manage accounts & backups
• Support IT documentation (continuity & recovery)
• Liaise with external providers (Bloomberg, SWIFT)

What we’re looking for
• Degree in Computer Science or 1+ year of IT experience
• Troubleshooting & problem-solving skills
• English B1–B2+
• Knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, VMware, networking (Cisco/HP/Huawei), backups (Veeam), VoIP (3CX), monitoring (Zabbix)
• Linux, Bloomberg, or SWIFT knowledge = advantage
• EU work permit preferred (visa sponsorship available)
