We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join Plus8Soft and help build reliable infrastructure and delivery platforms for trading systems.

▫️Remote(candidates based outside Russia and Belarus)
▫️English: B2+
▫️International distributed team

Key Responsibilities:

▫️Improve observability for critical trading paths: centralized logging, metrics, distributed tracing, alerting, and runbooks.
▫️Design, build, and maintain infrastructure, CI/CD, and self-service platform tools.
▫️Ensure production readiness through capacity planning, failover, environment parity, and safe operational workflows.
▫️Enable fast, predictable deployments with safe rollback strategies.
▫️Lead technical initiatives, contribute to architecture decisions, review code, and mentor engineers.
▫️Create documentation and support platform adoption across teams.

Requirements:

▫️5+ years in software engineering, including experience in DevOps or SRE.
▫️Strong expertise in observability and production reliability.
▫️Hands-on experience building logging pipelines and monitoring strategies.
▫️Experience designing and managing cloud-native applications on AWS.
▫️Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
▫️Strong understanding of containers, orchestration, automation, and serverless architectures.
▫️Experience with CI/CD, test automation, and safe deployment strategies.
▫️Strong communication skills and experience working with global teams asynchronously.
▫️English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Technology Stack & Relevant Tools:

▫️Cloud: AWS
▫️Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK
▫️Observability: Datadog preferred; Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK, or similar stacks
▫️Delivery: CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, safe deployments and rollbacks
▫️Platform: containers, orchestration, serverless, self-service tooling
▫️Application runtime: Java / JVM — production support experience is a strong plus
